JYUESJKJ Bluetooth 5.4 Wireless Earbuds with USB-C Case: A Full Review

I lose my headphones constantly on the subway, so I finally stopped buying expensive ones and started hunting for cheap wireless earbuds that I wouldn't cry over leaving on a train seat. Enter the JYUESJKJ earbuds, a brand name I still don't know how to pronounce. For ten bucks, my expectations were sitting squarely on the floor. Surprisingly, they get the basic job done without much fuss. The charging case has this bright LED display that tells you exactly how much juice is left, which is a feature I wish my higher-end pairs had. You get about six hours of listening time before they need a nap in the case, and the USB-C charging is reasonably fast. Sound quality is exactly what you pay for—it leans heavy on the bass, and the high notes can get a little muddy if you crank the volume up, but for podcasts or gym playlists, it is totally fine. The fit is comfortable enough since they are incredibly light, and they survived a sweaty treadmill session thanks to the water resistance. The touch controls are wildly sensitive, though, so I accidentally pause my music every time I try to adjust how they sit in my ear. If you are an audiophile, keep walking. But if you just need a disposable backup pair for your daily commute, these actually make a lot of sense.
