I lose headphones on the subway constantly, which means I refuse to spend more than twenty bucks on a pair anymore. That habit led me to the TOZO A1. If you are looking for cheap wireless earbuds, you usually have to accept a bulky design that hurts your ears after an hour or a battery that dies midway through a workday. These actually sidestep both issues. They weigh just 3.7 grams each and sit flush in the ear, making them oddly comfortable for smaller ears that usually ache with standard silicone tips.
The sound quality is exactly what you would expect for something that costs less than a fast-food lunch, but the TOZO app does let you tweak the EQ to cut down on the muddy bass. I mostly use them for podcasts and YouTube videos while doing dishes, and for that, the clear vocals are perfectly fine. You get about seven hours of listening before they need to go back in the charging case, which is plenty for a standard commute.
They are IPX5 water-resistant, so sweat at the gym won't kill them, but the plastic build definitely feels flimsy in the hand. The case lid feels like it could snap if you sit on it wrong. Still, as a pair of cheap wireless earbuds you can toss in a bag and not cry over if they roll under a train seat, they do exactly what they need to do without emptying your wallet.
