The silicone hooks are soft and keep the buds anchored to my ears without pinching, though they do look a little bulky compared to standard in-ear models. The touch controls are fairly responsive, but I accidentally pause my music sometimes when adjusting the fit. If you need a disposable-priced pair of workout headphones that will not fall out on a treadmill, these do exactly what they need to do.
