The 1.91-inch display is surprisingly bright, even when I am out walking the dog in the middle of the day. One weirdly specific feature I ended up using constantly is the built-in LED flashlight. It sounds like a gimmick, but having a physical flashlight on your wrist is incredibly handy when you are trying to find the keyhole at night or navigating a dark hallway without waking anyone up. If you are hunting for a smart watch for men under 100, this is a solid contender. It handles Bluetooth calls well enough—the speaker gets reasonably loud—and it tracks the standard metrics like heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep. You sync everything through the "Da Fit" app, which is basic but functional. It will not give you the deep, nuanced recovery analytics of a high-end fitness tracker, but it logs your steps and daily activity accurately enough to keep you honest. The watch comes with both a nylon and a silicone strap in the box, which is a nice touch for swapping between the gym and the office. Just keep it out of the pool; despite having a swimming mode listed, the fine print clearly states it isn't suitable for actual swimming or diving.
