On weeknights, the toaster used to stay out, the air fryer lived in a cabinet, and a sheet pan was always drying by the sink. The Ninja SP151 makes a lot of sense if that sounds familiar. It is basically a wide countertop convection oven that can toast breakfast, crisp fries, reheat pizza, and handle a quick tray of chicken without heating the full oven.
The flip-up design is the reason I would buy this over many boxier air fryer ovens. After it cools, it tips upright against the backsplash and gives back a surprising amount of counter space. Cooking performance is strong for the size: toast is even enough for daily use, frozen snacks get properly crisp, and the 12-inch pizza capacity is useful rather than theoretical. For a household of two to four, it can cover a lot of weeknight meals.
It is not the roomy oven some photos make it look like, though. The interior is shallow, so taller foods and covered dishes are out. Cleaning around the back and heating elements takes patience, especially after greasy air frying. It also runs hot and loud enough that I would not tuck it under low cabinets while cooking.
At around $150 with a long review history, it earns a spot in a 2026 best air fryer oven search if your priority is fast, space-saving cooking. If you want to roast a whole chicken or replace a full oven, I would look bigger.
