My usual desk starts feeling cramped the second I add two 24-inch monitors, a keyboard, and a coffee mug. The Mount-It! 38-inch standing desk converter solves the space issue better than the smaller risers I’ve used, mostly because the top platform is wide enough that the monitors don’t feel like they’re balancing on the edge. The maple finish also makes it look less like office equipment dropped onto a home desk. The gas-spring lift is the main reason I’d consider it if you’re comparing the best standing desk converter for 2 monitors. One side handle raises and lowers the whole work surface smoothly, and I like that I can change positions without clearing everything off first. The keyboard tray sits at a usable distance, so my wrists are not jammed against the desk, and the phone/tablet slot is actually handy for calls or messages. It is still a desktop converter, though. At 38 inches wide, it needs a real desk underneath it, and the footprint may crowd a shallow tabletop. The manual lift is easy, but it is not the same as an electric sit-stand desk if you plan to adjust height constantly. I’d also double-check your standing height; the listed max height is fine for many people, but taller users may want more lift. For the money, it feels like a solid dual-monitor sit-stand riser with a useful warranty, not a fancy workstation replacement.
