Cushioning is soft without feeling like a marshmallow, though the arch support is pretty neutral. If you need firm medial posting or a structured stability shoe, you may still want an insole.

I would put these on the shortlist for someone searching for the best running shoes for wide flat feet on a budget, especially if daily comfort matters as much as pace. They are also easy to wear with casual clothes, which helps if you do not want a shoe that screams gym-only. The tradeoff is durability and support: they are not built like premium running shoes, and heavier mileage may expose that sooner. For easy road runs, long walks, travel days, and standing around, they make sense. For speed work, marathon training, or severe pronation, I would be more cautious.
