On a treadmill, the ear hooks are the difference between relaxing into a run and constantly poking an earbud back into place. That is where the Beats Powerbeats Pro still make a lot of sense. They lock in better than most true wireless earbuds I have used, especially for sweaty workouts, outdoor runs, and lifting sessions where smaller buds can wiggle loose.
If you are searching for the best wireless earbuds with ear hooks and noise cancelling, the big catch is that these do not have active noise cancellation. They block some sound because of the in-ear seal, but they will not hush a plane cabin or a loud gym the way ANC earbuds do. For me, that makes them more of a secure workout pick than a quiet-commute pick.
Battery life is the part I appreciate most. Nine hours per charge is enough that I rarely think about topping them off, and the case stretches that well past a day of use. The Apple H1 chip also makes pairing with an iPhone quick, and the physical volume and track controls on both earbuds are much easier to use mid-run than tiny touch panels.
The case is chunky, the price is not exactly casual, and the design is very workout-first. But if your main problem is earbuds falling out, these are still one of the safer bets.
