That said, you need to manage your expectations around speed. It is not a fast-charging powerhouse. The ports max out at standard 5V. While the smart identification balances the juice among connected devices, plugging in an iPad alongside three phones will noticeably slow down the charge time for everything. This is strictly a slow-drip overnight charging hub or a convenient way to keep low-draw gadgets like wireless earbuds, power banks, and e-readers topped up. Still, for a budget desk setup, it clears the cable clutter and feels surprisingly safe with its fireproof casing.
