TOZO HT3 Hybrid Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones: A Full Review

On a train with the air vents roaring, the TOZO HT3 takes enough edge off the noise that I can keep a podcast at a normal volume. That is the main reason I’d put it in the conversation for the best under $100 noise cancelling headphones: the ANC is genuinely useful, not just a checkbox. It does not erase everything like premium Sony or Bose cans, but it handles low rumbles, office HVAC, and café background chatter better than I expected at this price.

The sound leans friendly and full, with a bit of extra bass out of the box. I liked it for playlists, YouTube, and movies, though I used the app EQ to pull the low end back a little. The 40mm drivers have enough detail for casual listening, and the 32 EQ presets are more than most people will need. Battery life is the other big win. I went several days without thinking about charging, and the quick-charge claim is useful if you forget before leaving.

Comfort is good for an over-ear headset, but the HT3 still feels like a budget headphone in the hand. The plastic foldable frame is practical, not luxurious, and the pads can get warm after a long stretch. Calls are fine in normal noise, helped by the mics, but I would not buy it mainly for heavy work meetings.
