Soundcore Space One over-ear noise cancelling headphones: A Full Review

The café table next to me had two people talking over a blender, and the Space One made the whole mess feel a lot farther away. That is the main reason I would put these on a shortlist for the best under $100 noise cancelling headphones. The ANC is not magic, and it will not erase every sharp voice or clattering dish, but it does a better job than I expected at this price, especially with steady train noise, office chatter, and HVAC hum.

Sound is typical Soundcore in a good way: punchy, a little bass-forward, and easy to tweak in the app. I would not call them neutral out of the box, but the EQ controls help a lot. LDAC support is a nice bonus if your phone supports it, though most people will probably care more about the battery life, which is genuinely useful. I can go several workdays without thinking about charging, even with noise cancelling on.

Comfort is another strong point. The ear cups are roomy, the clamp is moderate, and the headband does not create a hot spot quickly. They still get warm after a couple hours, as most closed-back wireless headphones do. Calls are clear enough for normal meetings, but I would not buy them mainly as a headset. If your budget is capped at a hundred dollars, these feel like a sensible, commuter-friendly pick rather than a cheap compromise.
