iMartine D16S MAX robot vacuum and mop with self-empty base: A Full Review

Quick Take

The first thing I’d check after a cleaning run is the corner by the dog bed, because that’s where loose fur usually survives cheap robot vacs. The iMartine D16S MAX is more convincing there than I expected for a $269.99 machine. The 18000Pa suction claim sounds inflated in the way robot-vac specs often do, but in use the high setting does pull up pet hair from low-pile carpet and the dusty grit that collects along baseboards. LiDAR mapping is the other big win: it builds a room map quickly, lets me block off cables or bowls, and does not wander around like a bumper-only bot.
The self-empty dock is bagless, which I like from a running-cost angle. You are not buying proprietary dust bags, and the 2.5L bin means you can ignore it for weeks in a normal home. The tradeoff is that dumping a bagless bin can puff dust if you are careless, so allergy-prone buyers may prefer a sealed bag system.
As a mop, I’d call it a maintenance wipe, not a floor washer. The 150ml tank is fine for light paw prints on hard floors, but dried spills still need a hand mop. The app controls are useful once set up, though needing 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Tuya/Smart Life may annoy people who want everything in one smart-home app. If you want the best robot vacuum and mop for pet hair without spending Roomba money, this is a strong budget pick, with the usual small-brand caution: the review pool is still pretty thin.
