PurMars 92Wh Portable Power Station with Bluetooth Speaker: A Full Review

Most power banks just sit there charging your phone, but the PurMars takes a weird, surprisingly useful approach by slapping a Bluetooth speaker and an FM radio onto a 92Wh battery. I grabbed this because I wanted a cheap power station for camping that wouldn't weigh down my gear bin. At under three pounds, it's basically the size of a thick paperback book, but it packs a 100W AC outlet alongside a couple of fast-charging USB-C ports.

The 92Wh capacity means it's flight-approved, which is a nice bonus if you travel, but it also means you need to manage your expectations. This isn't going to run a mini-fridge or keep a CPAP machine going all weekend. It is strictly for phones, tablets, maybe topping off a laptop, and keeping some tunes going around the fire. The built-in speaker actually gets decently loud, and the FM radio is a fun throwback when you're out of cell service and just want some background noise.

For around ninety bucks, the value is definitely there if you understand its limits. The 60W PD input means it recharges fast from a wall outlet or car charger before you hit the trail. If you need serious off-grid energy for appliances, look elsewhere. But if you just want to keep your small electronics alive and listen to some music without packing a separate speaker, this is a highly capable little brick.
