The frame is steel and the T-shaped feet keep it from rocking at sitting height. Push it up tall and type hard, though, and you'll notice a little wobble — normal for single-motor desks in this range, but worth knowing. Assembly took me under an hour with the included hardware, no surprises. The phone stand and cable hole are small touches I didn't think I'd use but actually do. For a standing desk under $100, the value is hard to argue with. You're trading workspace size and rock-solid stability for a price that makes the sit-stand habit affordable. If you have a small home office or a corner setup, that trade makes sense. If you need a big work surface or zero sway, look higher up the price ladder.
