It is a genuinely cheap air fryer that doesn't feel like a complete toy, which is a hard balance to strike for under forty bucks.

The squared-off design is what actually makes this usable. A lot of budget models use a circular basket that wastes corner space, but this one maximizes its three-quart footprint. You can comfortably fit two chicken breasts or a couple of servings of fries. The digital touchscreen goes up to 400 degrees, and because the internal chamber is small, you rarely need to preheat it. Frozen foods go straight from the freezer to crispy in about twelve minutes.

That said, you have to be realistic about the size. This is strictly an appliance for one or two people. If you try to cook for a family, you'll be doing it in annoying, endless batches. The build quality also reflects the price tag—the plastic exterior feels a bit hollow, and the touchscreen occasionally ignores a tap if your hands are damp. But for a cheap air fryer that handles basic reheating and daily single-serving meals, it does exactly what it needs to do without eating up your entire counter.
