Our Verdict

Pros

  • +built-in eight-outlet power strip eliminates the need to run multiple extension cords across your workbench.
  • +heavy-gauge steel construction doesn't bend or flex even when loaded with heavy 20v drills and large batteries.
  • +modular design lets you bolt the two racks together or mount them on opposite walls depending on your garage layout.
  • +side caddy and hooks keep small accessories like bits and tape measures from getting lost in the shuffle.

Cons

  • included drywall anchors are cheap and pull out easily under heavy weight, requiring you to supply your own hardware or find studs.
  • assembly requires dealing with dozens of tiny screws and nuts, which gets tedious and takes longer than expected.
  • drill slots are a bit narrow, meaning some bulkier or older tool models might not slide in smoothly.
  • the 33-pound weight limit per layer means you can't stack heavy automotive tools or large circular saws on the top shelf.

In-Depth Review

My workbench used to be a chaotic mess of dead drill batteries, scattered bit cases, and tangled charging cords fighting over a single wall outlet. I bought the CCCEI tool organizer to reclaim my bench space, and the built-in power strip is what actually makes it work. Instead of just giving you a metal shelf to hang drills, this rack includes an eight-outlet surge protector right on the unit. You can plug in all your battery chargers directly above where the tools hang.

If you are trying to find the best power station for the money to handle a growing collection of cordless tools, this two-pack setup is incredibly practical. For under ninety bucks, you get two heavy-gauge steel shelves that you can mount side-by-side or stack. Each one has four drill slots, plus a side caddy for bits and screwdrivers. It holds up to 33 pounds per layer, which easily handles my heavy 20V impact drivers and hammer drills without bowing.

Assembly takes some patience since there are quite a few screws, and the included mounting hardware isn't great if you're going into drywall without studs. You will definitely want to use your own heavy-duty anchors or mount it directly to a wood backer. But once it is up, having a centralized charging hub makes garage organization actually stick. You grab a charged battery, slot the empty one in the charger, and keep moving.
