In-Depth Review

My mouse finally stopped bumping into the keyboard during low-sens Valorant after I swapped to this 60% Aula board. The WIN60 HE is clearly built around that FPS-first idea: small footprint, magnetic Hall Effect switches, rapid trigger, and a claimed 8000 Hz polling rate. At around forty bucks, it lands in a weirdly strong spot if you’re shopping the best mechanical keyboards under 100 dollars and care more about response tuning than a heavy metal case or fancy knob.

The big thing here is the adjustable actuation. If you play Valorant, CS2, Apex, or anything where counter-strafing and quick taps matter, the rapid trigger setting does feel more responsive than a basic budget mechanical keyboard. It is not magic aim, but it makes key resets feel snappy and predictable. The PBT keycaps are also a nice surprise at this price, and the RGB is bright enough without looking too cheap.

The 60% layout is the main catch. I like it for gaming, but for daily work I miss arrow keys, dedicated function keys, and a normal navigation cluster. You can use layers, but that gets old if you edit text all day. The software is another place where you feel the budget; it gets the job done, but it is not as polished as bigger-name keyboard apps. Still, for someone prioritizing magnetic switches and rapid trigger on a tight budget, this deserves a real look among the best mechanical keyboards under 100 dollars.
